2024KICKING FOR MIRACLES
General Information
What is Kicking for Miracles? Kicking for Miracles is a World Class Tae Kwon Do tradition that started 30 years ago with Grandmaster Chong. Since 2013, our San Jose school has raised over $245,000 for local hospitals! We have helped these hospitals provide crucial medical care to patients in need including children, the elderly, the disabled, the chronically ill, and low income individuals and families.
Who Does This Benefit? All proceeds from our event will go to Valley Health Foundation, formerly Valley Medical Center Foundation, which supports the women and children at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Hospital and Clinics.
When Does Fundraising Begin? Fundraising begins immediately. Our Kicking for Miracles event (Sat. March 23 at Pioneer High School) is the culmination of our fundraising efforts. In addition to breaking 3000 boards, we will be holding a raffle and auction, all proceeds of which will be added to the check we present to Valley Health Foundation.

Ways to donate include:
Bills and checks collected in white Kicking for Miracles envelope, which you may pick up at our school. No coins please. Checks should be payable to World Class Tae Kwon Do. Donations submitted this way are NOT tax deductible.
Online at https://valleyhealthfoundation.org/fp/kickingformiracles.html or click the button below. You may provide this link to family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers and remind them to enter the student’s name so the student receives credit toward the T-Shirt and prizes. Online donors will be emailed a tax-deductible receipt.
Corporate Matching Ask if your employer will match your donation to double or triple the impact of your contribution! Corporate matches should be made to Valley Health Foundation, 2400 Clove Drive, San Jose, CA 95128. Corporate matches will not count toward top fundraising prizes.

Raffle / Auction Details ** Deadline for Item Donations: Sat. March 9 **
We have held very successful raffles and auctions in the past and hope you will help us do it again! All proceeds are added to the check we present to Valley Health Foundation. Please consider donating items such as:
- Gift cards to restaurants, stores, golf course, nail salon, spa, movie theater, bay cruises, etc.
- Lego set or other toys
- Tickets to a sporting event, concert, kids museum, theme park, or local attraction
- Autographed item from a celebrity or sports figure
- Backstage passes to a concert or tour
- An overnight stay at your timeshare or vacation home
- Specialty services such as photography, catering, chiropractic care, dentistry, personal training
- A bottle of wine
All donations should be dropped off at our school by the deadline above.
Volunteering
We will need volunteers, children and parents alike! Opportunities include requesting donations from businesses you patronize, donating food to be sold at the event, moving boards, holding boards (adult students only, please).
